Hi! I’m Aryan Kar and I’m the Virginia Chapter Founder of EmpowerSTEM. I’m passionate about physics and math, and I’m always looking for ways to challenge myself academically and help others explore STEM. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my Family, and just staying curious about the world around me.

Hi, i’m Monica Basak, a rising senior in high school, and I am passionate about all things science! I love meeting other people and teaching them about new things. Outside of school i love to volunteer and spend time with my friends.

Surya Gunturu

Hi, I’m Surya Gunturu. I am passionate about engineering and computer science. I am looking to explore more opportunities in STEM fields. I enjoy working on robotics projects, leading me to partake in many STEM clubs. Outside of school, I enjoy 3D printing, playing soccer, and programming.
